Rotary Club of Dillibazar Launches Inspirational Autobiography “Ajhai Ukalo Baki Chha”

Kathmandu: Rotary Club of Dillibazar organized a special book launch ceremony for “Ajhai Ukalo Baki Chha” (“The Uphill Journey is Still Ahead”), an autobiographical work written by the Club’s Past President and former Central President of PABSON, Mr. Lax Bahadur K.C. The book was jointly unveiled by Rotary Club of Dillibazar President Mr. Prem Oli , the author Mr. Lax Bahadur K.C. , and Past President Dr. Parthiweshwor Prasad Timilsina . Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu Conducts Second Free Eye Health Camp

  Kathmandu, May 24  Continuing its commitment to community service and school-level health awareness initiatives, Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu successfully organized the second phase of its free eye health camp for students from various public schools in Chandragiri Municipality. The camp was held at Bishnu Devi Shiksha Sadan Secondary School , located in Ward No. 11, Satungal, Chandragiri Municipality, where approximately 600 students from different schools in the area received free eye examinations. According to the club, the primary objective of the program was to identify vision-related problems among children at an early stage and support their educational as well as personal development. The organizers also informed that students requiring corrective lenses after the screening will be provided free eyeglasses. School-Level Road Safety Awareness Program Conducted

Kathmandu, May 18, 2026 — Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu and Rotaract Club of Dillibazar jointly organized a “School-Level Road Safety Awareness Program for Children” today at Albert Secondary School, Maitidevi. The program saw the active participation of students from grades 6 and 7. Program Coordinator Rotarian Damodar Nepal delivered a presentation on road safety, highlighting how children can remain safe while using roads, the importance of following traffic rules, and ways to spread awareness among others. During the program, past presidents of the club also shared their views on road safety and encouraged students to become aware and responsible citizens. School-Level Eye Health Camp Organized by Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu Successfully Completed

  The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu has successfully completed the first phase of a comprehensive school-level eye health camp conducted under its ongoing eye screening program aimed at improving eye health and identifying vision problems among students studying in public schools within Chandragiri Municipality. A few months ago, an initial eye screening program was conducted among approximately 15,000 students from various public schools across Chandragiri Municipality. During the screening, nearly 1,500 students were found to have different types of eye-related problems. Among them, around 800 students underwent detailed eye examinations by specialist doctors in the first phase of the program. The eye camp was organized at Mangalodaya Secondary School, Thankot, where students received vision testing, identification of eye-related diseases, and necessary medical consultation. Seed Money Distributed to Women’s Groups Following Self-Employment and Skill Development Training

May12, Kathmandu.  The Rotary Club of Dillibazar, in collaboration with Bal Bikash Samaj, has distributed seed money to four women’s groups under its ongoing self-employment and skill development training program aimed at the economic empowerment of underprivileged and marginalized women. After providing various vocational and self-employment-related training for one year, each group received NPR 80,000, totaling NPR 320,000 in seed money support. At a program organized in Bhimtar of Indrawati Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchok, seed money of NPR 80,000 each was handed over to the Junkeri Women’s Group and Pragati Women’s Group in the presence of the chief guest, Rural Municipality Chairperson Jhamka Nepal.
