Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu Successfully Completes Its 12th Blood Donation Program
Kathmandu, June 26, 2026 – The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu successfully organized its 12th Blood Donation Program under Rotary Year 2025–2026, reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian service and community health. The program was held at the Radhakrishna Temple premises in Dillibazar with the noble objective of helping save lives through voluntary blood donation.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of Past President Arun Regmi, Past President Leelanath Sharma, Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari, Service Projects Director Dr. Hari Krishna Baskota, club members, representatives from various social organizations, and local community leaders. During the program, participants emphasized the vital importance of regular voluntary blood donation in addressing the continuous need for safe blood and encouraged healthy individuals to donate blood to help save lives.
With the successful completion of this event, the Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu has proudly accomplished its goal of conducting twelve blood donation programs during Rotary Year 2025–2026. The club has consistently organized humanitarian initiatives focusing on healthcare, education, community development, and social welfare, demonstrating Rotary's enduring motto of "Service Above Self."
The 12th blood donation program was organized in collaboration with GMPT Foundation, Kalibhakta Foundation, Sahaj Foundation, and Kalpana Foundation. The organizing committee expressed its sincere appreciation to all partner organizations, voluntary blood donors, volunteers, and everyone who contributed directly and indirectly to the successful completion of the program.
As a token of appreciation, certificates were presented to the blood donors for their invaluable contribution. The club also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing similar humanitarian initiatives in the future while promoting greater public awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.
Inspired by the message, "Donate Blood, Save Lives," the Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu remains committed to expanding its service initiatives and making a meaningful impact in the fields of health, education, and humanitarian service for the benefit of the community.
