Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu Holds Joint Club Assembly
Kathmandu, June 17, 2026 – The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu successfully conducted its Joint Club Assembly for the Rotary Years 2025–26 and 2026–27. The assembly was organized with the objective of reviewing committee activities, sharing future plans, and strengthening the club’s service projects and organizational effectiveness.
The program was attended by Assistant Governor Ashok Kumar Shrestha and Region 1 Secretary Rikesh Kayastha as distinguished guests. During the assembly, committee chairs and representatives presented reports on their respective committees’ achievements, ongoing activities, future plans, and goals for the upcoming Rotary year.
Committees covering areas such as membership development, youth and community service, health, education, environmental conservation, public image, and club administration shared their progress and outlined planned initiatives for the year ahead. The session also provided an opportunity for constructive discussions aimed at making the club’s projects more impactful, sustainable, and results-oriented.
Speaking at the closing session, Assistant Governor Ashok Kumar Shrestha and Region 1 Secretary Rikesh Kayastha commended the Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu for its continued commitment to social and humanitarian service. They praised the club’s successful implementation of community-focused projects and offered valuable suggestions and guidance for further expanding its service initiatives in the future.
The guests expressed confidence that strong coordination and active participation among club officers, committee chairs, and members would further strengthen the club and enhance its ability to serve the community.
