Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu Holds Joint Club Assembly



Kathmandu, June 17, 2026 – The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu successfully conducted its Joint Club Assembly for the Rotary Years 2025–26 and 2026–27. The assembly was organized with the objective of reviewing committee activities, sharing future plans, and strengthening the club’s service projects and organizational effectiveness.

The program was attended by Assistant Governor Ashok Kumar Shrestha and Region 1 Secretary Rikesh Kayastha as distinguished guests. During the assembly, committee chairs and representatives presented reports on their respective committees’ achievements, ongoing activities, future plans, and goals for the upcoming Rotary year.

Committees covering areas such as membership development, youth and community service, health, education, environmental conservation, public image, and club administration shared their progress and outlined planned initiatives for the year ahead. The session also provided an opportunity for constructive discussions aimed at making the club’s projects more impactful, sustainable, and results-oriented.

Speaking at the closing session, Assistant Governor Ashok Kumar Shrestha and Region 1 Secretary Rikesh Kayastha commended the Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu for its continued commitment to social and humanitarian service. They praised the club’s successful implementation of community-focused projects and offered valuable suggestions and guidance for further expanding its service initiatives in the future.

The guests expressed confidence that strong coordination and active participation among club officers, committee chairs, and members would further strengthen the club and enhance its ability to serve the community. They also extended their best wishes for a successful and productive Rotary year ahead.

The Joint Club Assembly served as an important platform for sharing experiences, aligning strategic plans, and fostering collaboration between the current and incoming leadership teams. The program concluded with a renewed commitment to implementing impactful, community-centered service projects in the coming Rotary years.

Kathmandu — The table tennis tournament organized by the Rotary Club of Dillibazar has concluded successfully. The event was jointly inaugurated by the Chief Guest, R.I. Lalitpur – Rotary International District 3202 successfully organized a Membership and Public Image Seminar at Hotel Tulip, Gwarko, Lalitpur. The program was graced by Chief Guest PDG CA Sharat Chandra, Rotary Membership Coordinator, and Honoree Guest PDG Bindu Singh, Rotary Public Image Chair. District Governor Binod Koirala, ARPIC Ajay Agrawal, PDG Rajendra Khandelwal, along with resource persons PDG Dilendra Raj Shrestha, PDG Sanjay Giri, PDG Jitendra Rajbhandari, and other distinguished Rotarians, were present on the occasion.
