Table Tennis Tournament Organized by Rotary Club of Dillibazar Concludes Successfully

Kathmandu — The table tennis tournament organized by the Rotary Club of Dillibazar has concluded successfully. The event was jointly inaugurated by the Chief Guest, R.I. District Public Image Chair Amit Giri, and Club President Prem Oli.The president of RC Rrajadhani , Shiva Raj Bhatta was also present as a special guest of the program. 

Women’s Category Results:
• First Place: Indira Parajuli
• Second Place: Sabita KC
• Third Place: Sujita Adhikari & Deepa Shrestha

Men’s Category Results:
• First Place: Manohari Thapa
• Second Place: Sumit Kunwar
• Third Place: Indra Shekhar Khadka & Bishnu Parajuli

Awards were distributed to the winners by Past Presidents Mohan Krishna Shrestha, Punya Prasad Paudel, and Arun Regmi.

The first-place winners received a shield, trophy, medal, certificate, and cash prize, while other winners were awarded medals and certificates.

President Prem Oli highlighted that this tournament played a significant role in enhancing fellowship, promoting good health, strengthening the club’s public image, and supporting membership growth.

Tournament Coordinator Rtn. Balram Sapkota successfully managed and conducted the event.

Chief Guest Amit Giri praised the Rotary Club of Dillibazar for leaving a remarkable impression not only in social service but also in culture, dance, and sports. He further suggested that the tournament could be expanded to the district level in the coming years.

Rotary Club of Dillibazar Hands Over Girls’ Toilet Facility

Garamani, Jhapa — The Rotary Club of Dillibazar has officially handed over the newly constructed girls’ toilet facility to Durga Secondary School in Garamani, Jhapa. The construction project was supported financially by Rotary International District 3292 too fors this project. The handover ceremony, held on Monday, Mangsir 15, was attended by Rotarian Bhakti Prasad Pathak of the Rotary Club of Dillibazar and his spouse Narmada Kharel as special guests. The program was conducted in the presence of the school’s chairman, local social workers, teachers, and the school community. During the program, the chief guest Rotarian Bhakti Prasad Pathak also handed over “bell paper” learning materials to support visually impaired students studying at the school. Krishna Pandey, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, expressed gratitude to the Rotary Club, noting that the assistance had significantly supported the school’s needs.
