Rotary Club of Dillibazar Pays Tribute to Late Rotarian Saurav Pant

Kathmandu – The Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Kathmandu, organized a heartfelt condolence program in memory of its active member, Rotarian Saurav Pant, who recently passed away unexpectedly. The gathering was held to pray for the eternal peace of his departed soul and to honor his remarkable contributions to the club and society.

The tribute program commenced with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp by Club President Prem Oli, followed by Past President Dr. Parthiweshwor Prasad Timilsina, who offered a garland to the photograph of the late Rotarian Saurav Pant. Rotarians and their spouses present at the event paid floral tributes and expressed their heartfelt condolences in remembrance of the departed member. A one-minute silence was also observed to pray for the eternal peace of his soul.

During the program, Past President Dr. Parthiweshwor Prasad Timilsina shared a brief reflection on the life and personality of the late Saurav Pant. Likewise, IPP Sagarnidhi Tiwari, Past President Dr. Udayaraj Sharma, Past President Punyaprasad Poudel, Past President Indira Parajuli, Vice President Rajesh Aryal, Admin Chair Babita Basnet, and Sergeant-at-Arms Rishidev Pant, among others, expressed their heartfelt tributes while recalling the moments they had shared with him.

The speakers described late Saurav Pant as a friendly, humble, cooperative, and inquisitive individual. They remarked that his untimely demise is a great loss not only to the club but also to the community, as the society has lost a dedicated social servant. They expressed that the news of his passing had deeply shocked the entire Rotary family and that his contributions to the club and society, though made in a short span of time, would always be remembered.

Club President Prem Oli stated that the contributions made by the late Saurav Pant toward the club and society would remain unforgettable. Similarly, Dr. Parthiweshwor Prasad Timilsina recalled that Saurav Pant was his close neighbor, and having known him since childhood, he had witnessed his spirit of service and social commitment firsthand. He further shared that it was these admirable qualities that inspired him to bring Saurav Pant into the Rotary Club of Dillibazar.

The condolence program concluded in an emotional atmosphere, with all attendees paying their sincere respects to the departed soul.
