Kathmandu — The table tennis tournament organized by the Rotary Club of Dillibazar has concluded successfully. The event was jointly inaugurated by the Chief Guest, R.I. District Public Image Chair Amit Giri, and Club President Prem Oli.The president of RC Rrajadhani , Shiva Raj Bhatta was also present as a special guest of the program. Lalitpur – Rotary International District 3202 successfully organized a Membership and Public Image Seminar at Hotel Tulip, Gwarko, Lalitpur. The program was graced by Chief Guest PDG CA Sharat Chandra, Rotary Membership Coordinator, and Honoree Guest PDG Bindu Singh, Rotary Public Image Chair. District Governor Binod Koirala, ARPIC Ajay Agrawal, PDG Rajendra Khandelwal, along with resource persons PDG Dilendra Raj Shrestha, PDG Sanjay Giri, PDG Jitendra Rajbhandari, and other distinguished Rotarians, were present on the occasion. From Rotary Club of Dillibazar, President Prem Kumar Oli, Past President and District Membership Co-chair Samjhana Pokharel, and Rotarian Sabita KC attended the seminar. More than 200 participants took part in the event, which was regarded as highly fruitful and impactful.
Garamani, Jhapa — The Rotary Club of Dillibazar has officially handed over the newly constructed girls’ toilet facility to Durga Secondary School in Garamani, Jhapa. The construction project was supported financially by Rotary International District 3292 too fors this project. The handover ceremony, held on Monday, Mangsir 15, was attended by Rotarian Bhakti Prasad Pathak of the Rotary Club of Dillibazar and his spouse Narmada Kharel as special guests. The program was conducted in the presence of the school’s chairman, local social workers, teachers, and the school community. During the program, the chief guest Rotarian Bhakti Prasad Pathak also handed over “bell paper” learning materials to support visually impaired students studying at the school. Krishna Pandey, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, expressed gratitude to the Rotary Club, noting that the assistance had significantly supported the school’s needs.
