Police Beat Reconstruction Completed

 Kathmandu –

The reconstruction of the police beat located in Ward No. 29 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has been completed. The police beat, which had been damaged during the Jenjhi Movement, was rebuilt through the joint efforts of the Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu, Rotary Club of Bhadgau, Ghattakulo Society, and various other organizations.

As part of the reconstruction, all damaged physical structures of the police beat were repaired and replaced. According to the police, burnt beds, broken windows and doors, cabinets, fans, lights, water supply systems, and even the painting and renovation works have been fully completed. With this, the police beat is now capable of operating its services smoothly.

Similarly, last week the Rotary Club of Dillibazar had also handed over various relief materials to the police Station  of the same area. These included daily essentials such as food items, gas cylinders, stoves, and other supplies, which have helped ease the daily lives of security personnel.

The reconstruction project, carried out with the cooperation of local residents and organizations, is expected to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community. It is also believed that the restoration and support initiatives will have a positive impact on the morale of the security forces.
