Cheque Handed Over to Durga High School for District Toilet Project
The Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Kathmandu handed over a cheque of Rs. 1,00,000 to Durga High School, Garamani, Jhapa, as the final installment for the completion of the District Toilet Project.
The cheque was presented by Club President Rtn. Prem Oli to Mr. Yogesh Pandey, the representative of Durga High School, during a brief ceremony held at the club office.
The event was graced by Past President Dr. Parthiveshwar Prasad Timilsina, Past President Rtn. Indira Parajuli, Joint Secretary Rtn. Bishnu Bahadur Khatri, Rtn. Manohari Thapa (the club’s media person), Rtn. Bishnu Parajuli, and Interact Member Rejina Lekhak.
During the program, President Rtn. Prem Oli highlighted the objectives and successful outcomes of the project, emphasizing Rotary’s ongoing dedication to community service and development. Likewise, Past President Dr. Timilsina shared insights about Rotary’s broader humanitarian efforts and its long-standing commitment to enhancing public welfare.
The District Toilet Project was successfully completed in collaboration with the RI District 3292 Basic Education department and the Local Government of Jhapa, with the goal of improving sanitation and hygiene facilities for students and the local community.
