Dustbin Distribution Program Conducted by Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu
Kathmandu 9 December 2025— The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu, in collaboration with Unnati Organization, successfully completed a dustbin distribution program at Kankali Secondary School located in Ward No. 13, Old Naikap, Chandragiri Municipality.
The chief guest of the program, President of Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Mr. Prem Wali, handed over the dustbins to the school’s principal, Mr. Bishnu Paneru. The event was graced by special guests including Past President Mr. Lilanath Sharma, Past President Ms. Indira Parajuli, Treasurer Mr. Manoj Shrestha, and Rotary Foundation Director Mr. Sumit Kunwar.
President Wali highlighted that this program was conducted under Rotary’s key service areas, particularly environment, education, and health. He further shared that the club has been continuously implementing various projects in public schools, including health education, drinking water facilities, and toilet construction.
Similarly, Principal Mr. Bishnu Paneru expressed his gratitude to the Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Unnati Organization, and the attending Rotarians and guests. He welcomed the initiative and requested continued cooperation and support for future programs in partnership with the school.
The program was coordinated and facilitated by School Management Committee member and Rotarian Mr. Prabin Dawadi. After the formal event, Rotarians also conducted a site observation program at the Kalu Pandey Park scene site.
