Rotary Club of Dillibazar Successfully Concludes DG Visit Program in a Grand Manner

 On Poush 10, 2082 (December 25, 2025), the Rotary Club of Dillibazar successfully organized its Annual District Governor (DG) Visit Program in a grand and dignified manner. The program was held under the chairmanship of Club President Rtn. Prem Oli, with District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala as the Chief Guest.

The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Past District Governors Rtn. Sanjay Giri and Rtn. Jitendra Rajbhandari, Governor-Elect Rtn. Bishnu Bahadur Karki, District Secretary Rtn. Anish Bajracharya, Joint Secretary Rtn. Arjun Shrestha , Uttam Poudel, District Public Image Chair Rtn.  Amit Giri ,   IPP Sagarnidhi Tiwari among other distinguished guests.

During the program, Administration Director Rtn. Babita Basnet, Membership Director Rtn. Saurav Pant, Service Project Director Dr. Harikrishna Banskota, Treasurer Rtn. Manoj Shrestha representing the Rotary Foundation Committee, and Public Image Committee Member Rtn. Damodar Nepal presented detailed and well-organized progress reports on the programs and projects implemented and planned by their respective committees for the current Rotary year.

Expressing satisfaction with the presentations, District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala highly appreciated the dedication and efforts of the club’s leadership and members. He encouraged the club to continue its creative and impactful activities with even greater effectiveness in the days ahead and remarked that the Rotary Club of Dillibazar is emerging as one of the vibrant and active clubs in the district. He also highlighted the club’s successful implementation of large-scale and impactful projects.

The President-Elect delivered the welcome address, while Vice President Rtn. Rajesh Aryal expressed the vote of thanks. Similarly, Rtn. Dipti Singh presented an overview of the club’s activities for the current year. The program was smoothly and professionally conducted by Club Secretary Rtn. Sandhya Rajbhandari.

Club President Rtn. Prem Oli expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, Special Guests, Past Presidents, Rotarians, spouses, Rotaractors, Interactors, and all distinguished attendees for their gracious presence, which contributed significantly to the grand success of the program.

The program concluded with an attractive cultural performance by the Rotaract sisters, followed by the presentation of a new song by singer Rotarian Rtn. Manhari Thapa, which thoroughly entertained the audience. The Holy Invocation was delivered by Past President Rtn. Madhav Prasad Upadhyay, while the Four-Way Test was presented by Rtn. Manhari Thapa.

On the occasion, President Rtn. Prem Oli, on behalf of the club, handed over cheques to District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala amounting to approximately NPR 175,000 for The Rotary Foundation, NPR 10,000 for the Disaster Fund, and NPR 10,000 as sponsorship for the District Conference.

District 3292 Organizes Membership and Public Image Seminar in Lalitpur

Lalitpur – Rotary International District 3202 successfully organized a Membership and Public Image Seminar at Hotel Tulip, Gwarko, Lalitpur. The program was graced by Chief Guest PDG CA Sharat Chandra, Rotary Membership Coordinator, and Honoree Guest PDG Bindu Singh, Rotary Public Image Chair. District Governor Binod Koirala, ARPIC Ajay Agrawal, PDG Rajendra Khandelwal, along with resource persons PDG Dilendra Raj Shrestha, PDG Sanjay Giri, PDG Jitendra Rajbhandari, and other distinguished Rotarians, were present on the occasion. Rotary Club of Dillibazar Hands Over Girls’ Toilet Facility

Garamani, Jhapa — The Rotary Club of Dillibazar has officially handed over the newly constructed girls’ toilet facility to Durga Secondary School in Garamani, Jhapa. The construction project was supported financially by Rotary International District 3292 too fors this project. The handover ceremony, held on Monday, Mangsir 15, was attended by Rotarian Bhakti Prasad Pathak of the Rotary Club of Dillibazar and his spouse Narmada Kharel as special guests. The program was conducted in the presence of the school’s chairman, local social workers, teachers, and the school community. During the program, the chief guest Rotarian Bhakti Prasad Pathak also handed over “bell paper” learning materials to support visually impaired students studying at the school.
