Grand Celebration of Valentine’s Day by Rotary Club of Dillibazar

The Rotary Club of Dillibazar celebrated Valentine’s Day with a grand literary program organized on the special occasion of Pranaya Diwas (Valentine’s Day). The event was held under the chairmanship of Club President Prem Oli.

The Chief Guest of the program was renowned artist, singer, and Vice President of Sisnupani Nepal, Dhirendra Premarshi. Similarly, Laxman Gamnage attended the event as the Special Guest.

Among the distinguished guests were former Chairman of Mega Bank Bhoj Bahadur Shah, Immediate Past President of the club Sagar Nidhi Tiwari, Director of South West State College Tikaram Mahara, and former Deputy General Manager of Gorkhapatra, Yam Prasad Kadel.

More than two dozen creators and literary figures presented humorous and satirical poems, songs, ghazals, and muktaks, filling the hall with a vibrant literary atmosphere.

Club Secretary Sandhyaraj Bhandari delivered the welcome speech, while Past President Dr. Parthivesh Timsina offered the vote of thanks. The program was entertainingly hosted by humorist poet and artist Chakra Dawadi, who conducted the event in a lively and engaging manner.

Chief Guest Dhirendra Premarshi, Special Guest Laxman Gamnage, and distinguished personalities including Sagar Nidhi Tiwari, Bhoj Bahadur Shah, Tikaram Mahara, Prem Woli Dhakalpure, Punya Acharya, Gopal Nepal, Maheshwar Pant,Samjhana Pokharel, Uday Das, Sita Bista, Sushila Sharma Dhamala, Chandra Neupane, Sandhyaraj Bhandari, Rabindra Nepal, Tharendra Baral, Balram Sapkota, Baijunath Rauniyar, Rajendra KC, Rishamdev Ghimire, Dwarika Kuil, Devendra KC, Radha Karki, Lalita Dosi,  Preeti Kaur, Sarita Maharjan, Laxmi Budha, and many other creators presented their literary works during the program.

The event turned out to be highly engaging, delightful, and entertaining. At the conclusion of the program, all participating creators were honored with certificates of appreciation on behalf of the club. The program also witnessed the grand presence of past presidents, board members, Rotarians, spouses, and a large number of audience members.

District 3292 Organizes Membership and Public Image Seminar in Lalitpur

Lalitpur – Rotary International District 3202 successfully organized a Membership and Public Image Seminar at Hotel Tulip, Gwarko, Lalitpur. The program was graced by Chief Guest PDG CA Sharat Chandra, Rotary Membership Coordinator, and Honoree Guest PDG Bindu Singh, Rotary Public Image Chair. District Governor Binod Koirala, ARPIC Ajay Agrawal, PDG Rajendra Khandelwal, along with resource persons PDG Dilendra Raj Shrestha, PDG Sanjay Giri, PDG Jitendra Rajbhandari, and other distinguished Rotarians, were present on the occasion. Warm Clothes Distribution

A warm clothes distribution program was successfully conducted through the joint initiative of Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Rotaract Club of Dillibazar, Sahaj Foundation, and Rotaract Club of Kathmandu . The program targeted residents of Bagargaun, Roshigaun, and surrounding areas under Panauti Municipality, Kavrepalanchok District . With the gradual increase in winter cold, the program was organized with the objective of protecting children, women, and senior citizens from underprivileged and needy communities from the harsh effects of cold weather. Under this initiative, approximately 300 kg of warm clothes were distributed to the beneficiaries. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents , and the families who received support expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the organizing institutions.
