Rotary Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm in District 3292

Rotary International District 3292 proudly celebrated the 121st Rotary Day with great enthusiasm at the district office.

District Governor Binod Koirala attended as the Chief Guest and highlighted Rotary’s mission of serving humanity, promoting peace, and creating positive change in communities. He also appreciated Rotary’s impactful contributions in Nepal in areas like education, health, drinking water, and disaster management.

Past District Governor Dilindra Shrestha shared a brief overview of Rotary’s history in Nepal, reflecting on its journey and achievements.

Senior Rotarians were honored with certificates and traditional khada for their valuable contributions to society. The event saw the presence of Club Presidents, Rotarians, Past Governors, and distinguished guests.

The celebration inspired everyone to continue strengthening the spirit of service.

Lalitpur – Rotary International District 3202 successfully organized a Membership and Public Image Seminar at Hotel Tulip, Gwarko, Lalitpur. The program was graced by Chief Guest PDG CA Sharat Chandra, Rotary Membership Coordinator, and Honoree Guest PDG Bindu Singh, Rotary Public Image Chair. District Governor Binod Koirala, ARPIC Ajay Agrawal, PDG Rajendra Khandelwal, along with resource persons PDG Dilendra Raj Shrestha, PDG Sanjay Giri, PDG Jitendra Rajbhandari, and other distinguished Rotarians, were present on the occasion. From Rotary Club of Dillibazar, President Prem Kumar Oli, Past President and District Membership Co-chair Samjhana Pokharel, and Rotarian Sabita KC attended the seminar. Warm Clothes Distribution

A warm clothes distribution program was successfully conducted through the joint initiative of Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Rotaract Club of Dillibazar, Sahaj Foundation, and Rotaract Club of Kathmandu . The program targeted residents of Bagargaun, Roshigaun, and surrounding areas under Panauti Municipality, Kavrepalanchok District . With the gradual increase in winter cold, the program was organized with the objective of protecting children, women, and senior citizens from underprivileged and needy communities from the harsh effects of cold weather. Under this initiative, approximately 300 kg of warm clothes were distributed to the beneficiaries. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents , and the families who received support expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the organizing institutions.
