Financial Literacy Program Conducted
Kathmandu, March 19, 2026 — A financial literacy program was successfully organized by the Rotary Club of Dillibazar in collaboration with ICFC Finance Limited on the occasion of Global Money Week. The event took place at Kanya Multiple Campus in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, with enthusiastic participation from the students of the campus.
The primary objective of the program was to
enhance financial awareness among students, promote understanding of the
banking system, and encourage responsible financial behavior. During the
session, participants were provided with comprehensive knowledge on the
importance of financial transactions, modern banking practices, the use of
e-banking services, digital payment systems, and ways to stay safe from online
scams and fraud.
The program was attended by Rotary Club of Dillibazar
President Prem Kumar Oli, Past President Dr. Parthiweshwor Prasad Timilsina,
Past President Indira Parajuli, Campus Chief Aparajita Aryal, Secretary Sandhya
Rajbhandari, Rotarians Shankar Kumar Shrestha and Bishnu Prasad Parajuli, among
others.
From ICFC Finance Limited, Corporate Branch
Head Sagar Nidhi Tiwari, Operations In-charge Anjana Neupane, Marketing Head
Sanjok Gurung, and Marketing Relations Officer Sarina Shrestha served as
trainers and shared their expertise with the students.
At the conclusion of the program, Corporate Branch Head Sagarnidhi Tiwari expressed gratitude to all participants, organizers, and collaborators. According to the organizers, the program not only helped connect young individuals with the banking system but also played a vital role in fostering financial awareness and encouraging the habit of saving among students.
