Mental Health and Self-Care Program Concludes Successfully

 Kathmandu – A special program on “Mental Health and Self-Care” was successfully organized jointly by the Rotary Club of Dillibazar and CWIN Nepal.

The program, chaired by Prem Oli, President of the Rotary Club, saw remarkable participation from past presidents, office bearers, members of the club, Rotaract members, and other invited guests.

Madhav Pradhan, President of CWIN Nepal, addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of mental health, the growing challenges in today’s society, and the need for awareness.

The main presentation of the program was delivered by Dr. Jasmin Ma, who provided detailed insights on how mental stress arises, its possible symptoms, and strategies to manage it effectively. She also shared practical techniques to reduce mental pressure in daily life. Furthermore, she demonstrated how proper use of the five senses can improve mental health through hands-on exercises.

During the program, health professional Sushila Shrestha guided participants on stress reduction through meditation and conducted exercises to maintain mental balance using the five senses.

Participants described the program as highly engaging, informative, interactive, and motivating. They also had the opportunity to ask questions openly and receive direct responses from the experts.

The program, held at Buigal Restaurant in Maitidevi, concluded with President-Elect Sujita Adhikari expressing gratitude to all participants, speakers, and the organizing team.

Organizers believe that the program played a significant role in raising public awareness about mental health.
