Monthly Blood Donation Program

Dillibazar, Kathmandu.The Rotary Club of Dillibazar has successfully conducted its 10th regular blood donation program as part of its ongoing social responsibility initiatives. The program, organized with the objective of helping reduce the shortage of blood needed to save human lives, has been taking place regularly on the second Friday of every month.

As part of its continued commitment to social service, the Rotary Club of Dillibazar has given special priority to blood donation programs with  collaboration with GMPT Foundation, Sahaj Foundation, Kalpana Foundation, Kalibhakta Foundation, Radha Krishna Mandir, and the Rotaract Club of Dillibazar.

The event witnessed the notable presence of various club officials and members under the leadership of Club President Prem Oli, Active participation was seen from Past President Dr. Parthiveshwar Prasad Timilsina, Past President Leelanath Sharma, Past President Indira Parajuli, Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari, Service Project Director Dr. Hari Krishna Banskota, along with other Rotarians.

Not only club members but also members of the local community enthusiastically participated in the blood donation drive. It is believed that the blood collected during the event will help save the lives of patients in emergency situations.

The Rotary Club of Dillibazar has long been engaged in meaningful work in the fields of education, health, environmental protection, and humanitarian service. This regular blood donation initiative has further strengthened the club’s commitment to community service.

It is believed that programs like this play an important role in raising public awareness about blood donation, while also promoting the spirit of humanitarian cooperation and social responsibility within the community .
