Rotary Club of Dillibazar Launches Inspirational Autobiography “Ajhai Ukalo Baki Chha”

Kathmandu: Rotary Club of Dillibazar organized a special book launch ceremony for “Ajhai Ukalo Baki Chha” (“The Uphill Journey is Still Ahead”), an autobiographical work written by the Club’s Past President and former Central President of PABSON, Mr. Lax Bahadur K.C.


The book was jointly unveiled by Rotary Club of Dillibazar President Mr. Prem Oli, the author Mr. Lax Bahadur K.C., and Past President Dr. Parthiweshwor Prasad Timilsina. The event was attended by President-Elect Ms. Sujita Adhikari, Secretary Ms. Sandhya Rajbhandari, past presidents, board members, Rotarians, and representatives from Rotaract and Interact clubs.

Speaking on the book, Past Presidents Dr. Parthiweshwor Prasad Timilsina and Mr. Yubaraj Adhikari highlighted how the publication realistically portrays the author’s life journey, struggles, experiences, achievements, and the many ups and downs he encountered along the way. They expressed confidence that the book would inspire readers to persevere and move forward despite challenges and hardships.


Addressing the gathering, author Mr. Lax Bahadur K.C. shared that he has recently been facing kidney-related health issues, which have limited his mobility. Rather than allowing these circumstances to discourage him, he chose to use his time productively by documenting his life experiences, reflections, and lessons in the form of this book. He also expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him throughout the writing process and stated that the book was written with the intention of passing on the lessons learned from his life to future generations.

Congratulating the author on the publication of the book, Club President Mr. Prem Oli wished him a speedy recovery and continued good health. He described “Ajhai Ukalo Baki Chha” as more than just a book, calling it an inspiring testament to perseverance, patience, positive thinking, and lifelong dedication. He further expressed his belief that the book would provide hope, encouragement, and guidance to readers facing various challenges in life.

Participants at the event praised the publication as an important record of Mr. K.C.’s life experiences, social contributions, and leadership in the field of education. They extended their best wishes for the book’s success. Rotary Club of Dillibazar also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting and promoting literary and inspirational works that contribute positively to society.

Lalitpur – Rotary International District 3202 successfully organized a Membership and Public Image Seminar at Hotel Tulip, Gwarko, Lalitpur.
