 In a heartfelt initiative, the Rotary Club of Dillibazar Kathmandu, in collaboration with Friends of Nepal from South Australia, has extended a helping hand to the earthquake-affected children in Jajarkot district. The recent earthquake in the region left many families in dire need, especially the young ones who are now grappling with the harsh winter conditions. The Rotary Club and its partners joined forces to deliver warm clothes to Oli Society Nepal, a local organization actively involved in assisting earthquake victims. The handover took place recently, marking a significant step towards alleviating the suffering of the affected children in Jajarkot. The warm clothes donation is expected to provide much-needed relief to the kids who have been facing the brunt of the cold weather, compounded by the recent snowfall in some parts of the district. This collaborative effort demonstrates the power of global partnerships and local engagement in bringing aid to communities in distress. T

In a compassionate effort to assist the earthquake-affected residents of Barkota Village Municipality, Wada Number 7, Luhag, Jajarkot, Rotary Club Dillibazar Kathmandu spearheaded a relief initiative, distributing essential supplies to families grappling with the aftermath of a recent seismic event . The club, known for its commitment to community service, distributed a total of 274 tarps (tarpaulins) to provide immediate shelter solutions. Additionally, 80 blankets and 260 sweaters were handed out to help residents cope with the chilling temperatures in the aftermath of the earthquake. This generous relief effort was made possible through collaborative partnerships with various organizations dedicated to earthquake relief. Working hand-in-hand with Rotary Club Dillibazar Kathmandu were Friends of Nepal, South Australia, Rotary Club of Mitcham, Friends of Nepal, Mumic from Germany, and Oli Society Nepal. Second Club Assembly of 2023/2024 was successfully held .The chief guest of the program was AG Saroj Shrestha.

  The Rotary Club of Dillibazar Kathmandu conducted a Home Stay training program in Arughat Rural Municipality, Gorkha District. This initiative aimed to empower the community with new business opportunities and cultural promotion. The program had 28 participants who gained valuable insights.Many Rotarian from the club were present in the last day of the training session.
