Free Health Camp and 40+ Marathon Concluded in Dillibazar

Kathmandu. As in previous years, Rotary Club of Dillibazar successfully organized its annual Free Health Camp and 40+ Marathon as part of its commitment to social responsibility. The marathon was conducted in collaboration with the Maitidevi–Dillibazar 40+ Youth Group. Alongside the marathon, a health camp was organized targeting local residents. The camp included blood tests, eye check-ups, whole-body health examinations, and a blood donation program. Organizers stated that locals actively participated and benefited directly from the health services provided. Program Coordinator and Immediate Past President of the Club, Sagarnidhi Tiwari , highlighted that such health services and awareness campaigns not only create a positive impact in the community but also directly benefit many individuals. Police Beat Reconstruction Completed

 Kathmandu – The reconstruction of the police beat located in Ward No. 29 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has been completed. The police beat, which had been damaged during the Jenjhi Movement , was rebuilt through the joint efforts of the Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu, Rotary Club of Bhadgau, Ghattakulo Society, and various other organizations. As part of the reconstruction, all damaged physical structures of the police beat were repaired and replaced. According to the police, burnt beds, broken windows and doors, cabinets, fans, lights, water supply systems, and even the painting and renovation works have been fully completed. With this, the police beat is now capable of operating its services smoothly. Joint Meeting of Rotary Club of Dillibazar Concludes

 Kathmandu  September 17, 2025 - The Rotary Club of Dillibazar successfully held a joint meeting in collaboration with its sister organizations, Rotaract Club of Dillibazar and Interact Club Albert. The meeting saw an impressive presence of Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors. During the program, the presidents of all three clubs presented the various activities and initiatives carried out by their respective clubs. The session also included detailed discussions on past achievements, future plans, and the clubs’ contributions to community service. Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu Distributes Relief Materials to Anamnagar Police Station

Kathmandu,   The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu has handed over various relief materials to the Anamnagar Police Circle Office. The club provided essential supplies at a time when the police office has been damaged and security personnel are facing difficulties with food and shelter. The relief items included: 10 sacks of rice 2 sack of lentils 20 liters of cooking oil 10 kg of salt 20 each of plates, bowls, and spoons 2 gas cylinders 1 large cooking pot 2 gas stoves 1 sack of potatoes 10 Litre pressur cooker 1 sack maseura Buckets and other necessary items These materials were officially handed over to the police office. District 3292 Organizes Basic Education and Literacy Seminar

Kathmandu, September 8 – Rotary District 3292 organized a seminar on Basic Education and Literacy. Although the participation was relatively low due to the impact of the ongoing protest in Kathmandu by Gen Z on the same day, the program was successfully conducted. Despite the limited attendance, the speakers highlighted important insights and shared valuable experiences, making the seminar productive and achievement-oriented.  The representative of  UNICEP, District Governor Binod Koirala and other distinguished  guests shared about besic education and literacy program of rotary international . President Prem Oli and Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari  from RC dillibazar were present on the program .  

Rotary Club of Thamel Organizes Heritage Walk

Kathmandu, Bhadra 21 (September 6, 2025) – Rotary Club of Thamel organized a ‘Heritage Walk’ today. The walk started from Dharahara and concluded at Thamel, during which participants observed various important cultural and historical heritages located in different alleys of Kathmandu. The event was co-organized by Rotary Club Himalaya Golfers, while Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Rotary Club of Capital City, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Midtown, Rotary Club of Gongabu, along with several other Rotary Clubs actively participated in the program. From Rotary Club of Dillibazar, Club President Prem Kumar Wali, Immediate Past President Sagarnidhi Tiwari, Past President Indira Parajuli, Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari, President Elect Sujita Adhikari, Vice President Rajesh Aryal, and Spouse Manita Aryal were among the distinguished attendees.    

Rotary Club of Dillibazar Organizes School-Level Poetry Competition

Kathmandu, August 20 – The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu successfully organized an on-the-spot poetry competition among secondary-level students under Rotary’s Basic Education and Literacy program. The event was chaired by Club President Prem Kumar Wali, with Laxman Gamnage, Chairperson of Sisnopani Nepal, serving as the Chief Guest. The panel of judges included literary figures and professors Bamdev Sharma, Raghunath Adhikari, and Punya Acharya. Special guests included IPP Sagarnidhi Tiwari, Past President Dr. Parthiveshwor Timilsina, Past President Punya Prasad Poudel, Past President Samjhana Pokharel, past President Indra Shekhar Khadka ,Past President Indira Poudel, Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari, and Rotarian Bishnu Parajuli.
